Pomositticut Farm in Hudson, Massachusetts is tucked away on a winding country road where the Fall leaves create a canopy through the woods. Fall in New England is a magical time and the perfect time of year for weddings. With gorgeous floral design from Alexa Gallishaw Florals and the perfect calligraphy details from Lumos Calligraphy, a New England girl at heart would swoon over this chic set up among the peak of changing leaves. Oh, and did I mention Moose the puppy?! Fur babies are always welcome in front of my camera! Charter Oak Country Club Wedding | Hudson Massachusetts | Haley + A.J.

Good morning friends, do I have a special wedding to share with you today!

Haley and A.J.’s wedding was the perfect day to kick off our Fall season. It was on a beautiful day where the rain stayed perfectly south of Charter Oak Country Club so Haley and A.J. could have the best day ever! A girl after my own heart with pastel florals and details, to their adorable customized golf balls (since they are avid golfers), to the smiles and love from their family and friends.

Haley’s father had tears of joy in his eyes as he welcomed his new son to his family, a moment he had been waiting a long time for. His smile lit up the entire room, bringing those tears of joy to everyone else who was there to celebrate the union. Haley’s father said that, while Haley taught figure skating that she should never date a hockey player. Well they met while he coached and played hockey and her Dad got a good laugh out of how perfect they are for one another as he welcomed A.J. to the family and everyone celebrated their love!

Haley and A.J. you two are definitely something special and I am so thrilled to have captured your wedding day, and I loved getting to spend more time with the two of you as you celebrate your love! I will always remember being in the car with you guys, freezing after our super fun engagement session, talking about how bad we all wanted pizza and beer! I hope you love these memories as much as I did capturing them!

A Winter Engagement | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer | Moore State Park| Paxton MA | Haley and AJ

What a winter wonderland we have had this season, and it seems like it's still coming! Haley and AJ met while he was coaching hockey, and she was teaching ice skating. The perfect setting for them was an engagement session after the most perfect snowfall on a frozen pond (don't worry, we made sure it was safe)! When they asked to bring along their adorable Beagle pup as well, I just couldn't be more excited! Despite some frozen toes, we had an absolute blast and I felt like we had known each other for years. Oakey definitely stole the show for a while, and left a few kisses on my camera, he was such a sweetie!

Now it's story time! All of us pretty cold, I finished the ring shots and we went to say goodbye. Yet my car had somehow decided to automatically lock itself when I walked away (leaving the keys on the backseat as I just took my camera to photograph the ring!) leaving me very embarrassed! Well, Haley and AJ refused to let me freeze alone while the guy came to unlock me door, and we had a good hour and a half to bond, warming up in their car, and talk about wedding plans and how badly we all wanted pizza and beer! This was definitely one of my most embarrassing career moments, but I couldn't have asked for sweeter people to spend time with. We are all human and life happens (however, if this happened on a wedding day and I was without camera, don't doubt I wouldn't be breaking my window haha). They even still decided afterward that we had so much fun that they wanted me to photograph their big day in September as well! These two are awesome, I can't wait for their wedding day!

Moore State Park Engagement | Boston Wedding Photographer | Jenna and Ethan

I absolutely love how adventurous Jenna and Ethan are! Not only did they choose a gorgeous location for their Fall engagement session, and dress to a T, but they love hiking and doing things outdoors and had not problem galavanting through the woods with me. I even got a little lost at first because I haven't been to this park in a few years and totally got thrown off! However walking through the woods in a gown and a suite did not phase these two and we had a great time. I can't wait for their wedding in 2018 and to capture more of their moments! Congratulations Jenna and Ethan!

Boston Wedding Photographer | Eric and Jeremy's Fourth of July Wedding at the Arnold Arboretum

There's no better way to celebrate the holiday known for it's fireworks than with a wedding! On a hot (I mean HOT! it was over 90 degrees!) summer day, Eric and Jeremy had a small and tight-knit ceremony on top of Bussey Hill at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston. Surrounded by their tight-knit group of family and friends, and their too cute for words ring bearer a puggle named Stewie, they made a meaningful journey to the top of the hill to recite their vows. I love intimate weddings because I feel like I leave with a group of new friends, and had a blast at the funky south end restaurant Cinquecento for cocktail hour! Congrats again Eric and Jeremy, wishing you a lifetime of happiness and fireworks!

Bridal Styled Shoot | New England Wedding Photographer

Assembling a team of creative minds to partake in creating something beautiful is one of the best things about being a photographer! After finding the perfect place for a styled bridal shoot at Bancroft Castle in Worcester, Massachusetts, I knew it would only be perfect to enlist the help of my favorite model/ makeup artist Jenn Pierce, my friend Briel Delmonaco of Uniquely Chic Vintage Rentals (http://uniquelychicvintage.com/), and assistant (and next bridal model) Samantha Bourbeau, to create the perfect romantic and early 1900's vibe. I've been wanting to shoot an Bancroft Castle for a very long time, since I saw how beautiful it was there, and between the gorgeous furniture from Uniquely Chic, lovely light, awesome location, and stunning flowers from The Flower Pot (http://www.theflowerpotri.com/) I'd say my first bridal shoot was a success and I can't wait for the next one coming up in August! A huge thank you to everyone who made this vision come to life!

Rhode Island and Cape Cod Wedding Photographer | Kristin and John | The Lighthouse Inn

I'm always up for an adventure and exploring new places, a wedding by the sea as summer ends was a wonderful way to end the season. Kristin and John were married right by the ocean at the Lighthouse Inn in Dennis, MA  (Cape Cod). Since they love being by the ocean this venue was perfect, from its seaside charm and beautiful lighting. The cabins for the couple to get ready in were just adorable, it would be so much fun to stay here by the sea! We decided last minute to do a first look, and the docks by the ocean made the perfect backdrop for this as well as family and bridal party photos. Congratulations Kristin and John, I had a blast capturing your big day!
